Hi, friends! After a relaxing weekend in Kansas City, I’m back home gearing up for a new week. There are a lot of fun things on the radar- first trip out on the road of fall travel season for my job, an exciting new kitchen gadget expected to be delivered and K-STATE FOOTBALL! Good times, good times.
In honor of hitting the road for travels this week, I thought this would be a great time to share some of my “travel must-haves” that I make sure to never leave home without. Isn’t it just wonderful how just a few quick things to pack can make a world of difference when you’re on the road, checking out new hotels and catching the next flight?
First thing on my must-haves list is a great, practical bag- I never leave home without one! The bag I carry is no longer in stock, but this Fossil Hobo bag is very similar. Bags that can go from a shoulder strap to a crossbody are my personal fave. Crossbody styles are especially perfect for keeping your bag safe and secure while traveling. Better yet? This bag has like a hundred pockets (okay, five)…need I say more?
I’ve recently discovered that I have been living life wrong in the electronics department. I suffered from chronic “Sorry, my phone died” syndrome. Solution? This handy portable charger. Plug it in and you’ve got a quick charge! You can pick this charger up over at myCharge or your local Target.
FlightStats is one of my Top 5 apps ever. Easy to navigate and very reliable, FlightStats is a free travel journal that allows you to monitor flights and airports. It is available for download on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Evian Facial Spray is a hero when it comes to refreshing your face after long car rides or flights. Just a few sprays and you’ll immediately feel clean and awake. I always keep one in my carry on or passenger seat bag!
As a girl with a lot of jewelry and need for organizing it, I basically couldn’t live without this jewelry travel case. It has six different zipper slots inside and has a hook for easy hanging. I love the tie feature for added security! You can snatch this Conair bag on Amazon for only $8.99.
Last but not least, the Audible app is a definite way to stay entertained on the road. There are thousands and thousands of books at various price points and membership levels. I love that I can start a book on my Galaxy S4, pick up where I left off on my iPad and then finish it off on my computer! Perfect for listening on multiple devices.
What are some of your must-have travel items when you hit the road? I’m always looking for new products to try!! 🙂
